"Platform" refers to SonaCast, including all services, features, content, and applications offered.

"User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, whether as a host, listener, or visitor.

"Host" refers to a User who creates and manages live broadcast sessions.

"Content" refers to all audio, text, images, and other materials uploaded, shared, or broadcast through the Platform.

"Beans" refers to the virtual currency used within the Platform for gifting and transactions.

"MoMo" refers to Mobile Money payment services (MTN, Telecel, AirtelTigo) used for transactions in Ghana.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify SonaCast of any unauthorized use of your account.

SonaCast reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to the Platform or other Users.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Broadcast, upload, or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable.
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party, including copyrighted music, recordings, or other protected materials.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Engage in hate speech, discrimination, or incitement of violence against any individual or group.
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other users' accounts, or any related systems.
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the Platform without prior written consent.
• Engage in fraudulent transactions, including manipulation of the Beans system or gift economy.
• Solicit personal information from minors or engage in any activity that exploits children.
• Use the Platform for commercial solicitation or spam without authorization.

SonaCast reserves the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these guidelines, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

You retain ownership of Content you create and broadcast on the Platform. However, by using SonaCast, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and distribute your Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

SonaCast and its logos, trademarks, and service marks are the property of SonaCast. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.

If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed, please contact us at [email protected] with a detailed description of the alleged infringement.

The Platform offers virtual currency ("Beans") that can be purchased using real money through Stripe, Mobile Money (MoMo), or other approved payment methods. Beans are used to send virtual gifts to Hosts during live broadcasts.

No Refunds: All purchases of Beans are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law. Beans have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for real currency except through the Host withdrawal process.

Host Earnings: Hosts may earn Beans through gifts received during broadcasts. Hosts may request withdrawal of earned Beans, subject to minimum thresholds and processing fees. SonaCast reserves the right to withhold or deduct amounts for suspected fraud, chargebacks, or violations of these Terms.

MoMo Payments: Mobile Money transactions are processed through third-party providers (MTN, Telecel, AirtelTigo). SonaCast is not responsible for delays, failures, or errors caused by mobile network operators.

Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable taxes on purchases and earnings. SonaCast does not provide tax advice.

Hosts are responsible for all Content broadcast during their sessions, including content from call-in participants. Hosts must moderate their sessions and remove inappropriate content or participants promptly.

By participating in a call-in during a live broadcast, you consent to your voice being broadcast to all listeners in that session. You may end your call-in participation at any time.

SonaCast does not pre-screen live broadcast content and is not responsible for the content of live sessions. However, we reserve the right to terminate any session that violates these Terms.

SonaCast provides Bible study tools and sermon note features for personal and ministry use. Bible text is sourced from publicly available translations and third-party APIs.

SonaCast does not claim ownership of Bible text content. Different Bible translations may be subject to their own copyright and usage terms. Users are responsible for complying with applicable copyright laws when sharing or reproducing Bible text.

Sermon notes and personal Bible annotations created by users remain the intellectual property of the user.

Your privacy is important to us. We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data with service providers who assist in operating the Platform, subject to confidentiality obligations.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

SonaCast does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Platform.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SONACAST'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO SONACAST IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

SonaCast is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or opinions expressed by users during live broadcasts or in any user-generated content on the Platform.

SonaCast may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon termination, any unused Beans in your account will be forfeited and are non-refundable.

Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law shall survive termination.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Accra, Ghana.
